Correct. As we were advised from day one, when the mRNA vaccines were made available, the vaccines do not provide immunity from infection, they provide protection from severe symptoms and death. Most people who are dying from covid-19 now are those who have pre-existing conditions that make them vulnerable to serious complications, or those who are not fully vaccinated.
